Scott R. Velazquez, Ph.D.

Dr. Velazquez received his Doctor of Philosophy Degree in Electrical Engineering, Electrical Engineer Degree, Master of Science in Electrical Engineering, and Bachelor of Science Degree in Electrical Science and Engineering from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology. Dr. Velazquez has technical expertise in mixed digital and analog signal processing, filter design, hardware development and testing, multi-rate filter bank processing, and adaptive array processing. For 6 years at MIT, he worked on analog-to-digital conversion systems, testing, error modeling, and linearity compensation techniques; he also designed and implemented hardware for adaptive array processing communications receivers. As an independent contractor for 3 years, he continued his work on A/D conversion systems for integration into ultrasound medical imaging systems, global positioning system (GPS) receivers, and cellular telecommunications receivers.

Mr. Velazquez received his Master of Business Administration and Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from San Diego State University. He has over 25 years experience in engineering and program management. He is experienced in satellite and terrestrial wireless telecommunications, airborne guidance, weapon systems, and telemetry. He has worked in engineering design and program management roles for QUALCOMM, Inc. and General Dynamics. Mr. Velazquez has performed technical management for both small and large scale engineering development projects.
